Founder's Memorial Amphitorium
Commencement recognizes individuals in the graduating class who are participating in the ceremony. Each degree candidate is also recognized in the printed program, and those unable to participate are indicated as in absentia. During the ceremony, degrees are conferred on the associate, bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral levels.
Founder’s Memorial Amphitorium main entrance will open at 1 p.m. and the ceremony will start at 2 p.m. Open seating on the main floor and in the balcony.
Everyone should be seated by 1:45 p.m. The academic procession will move into the amphitorium at 1:55 p.m. (No guest tickets are required for Commencement.)
• Children: Individuals with children (infant to 5 years of age) may view the closed-circuit program in Levinson Hall in the Student Center.
• Mobility Aid Accommodations: Guests using a mobility aid enter the doors of tower 3 at Aisle 3 (opposite Student Center) or the doors of tower 8 at Aisle 11 (opposite Cinematic Arts Center) and may be accompanied by another individual. Tower 3 and 8 doors will open at 12:50 p.m. for these individuals.

Semester Ends

The Spring Semester ends at the conclusion of Commencement. Graduating students will attend the Commencement activities Thursday and Friday. Flight reservations should be planned for Friday after 6 p.m. or at least two hours after your work obligation because of check-in at the airport.
Non-graduating students may leave following the Awards Ceremony, Thursday or after their final work obligation on Thursday or Friday. Because of time needed for airport check-in, flight reservations should be planned for Thursday after 1 p.m. or at least two hours after one’s final work obligation.
